Isabel Thornton
Isabel graduated in Psychology from The University of Manchester in 2002 and went on to study Law at The College of Law in Chester. She completed her training contract with a law firm in Manchester in 2006 before joining a leading regional commercial firm, in their Liverpool office, to pursue her career in family law. Isabel remained in Liverpool until joining Stowe Family Law LLP in January 2009 and in doing so, returned to her roots in Cheshire.
Isabel undertakes all aspects of family law and through her experience in previous firms has become adept at dealing with disputes in respect of financial matters, which can arise upon relationship breakdown. In particular, she regularly advises clients in relation to all aspects of co-habitation law (i.e. co-habitation agreements/contracts and co-habitation disputes).
Isabel is an active member of Resolution and is working towards becoming a qualified Collaborative Lawyer.
