Filomena is experienced in dealing with a broad range of family law matters including Divorce, Nullity, Judicial Separation, Financial Proceedings, Family Law Act Proceedings, Children Act Proceedings which also involves international relocation, and cohabitation disputes. She also routinely advises on prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Filomena has a particular interest in Adoption matters.
Filomena is a member of Resolution.
Filomena is co-chair of the Essex YRes committee having been a member of the committee since 2019. Filomena is also a member of the Mid Essex Law Society.

Filomena remains client focused and where possible she represents her clients at Court but, always ensures that Court proceedings are the very last resort. Training & employment
Filomena studied at Anglia Ruskin University undertaking both her Law Degree and the Legal Practice Course. Filomena has worked in family law since 2012 and has continued to specialise in this area of the law since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2016. Filomena joined Stowe Family Law in 2021 as a Senior Associate Solicitor and was promoted to a Team Leader Partner in December 2024. Filomena works within the Eastern Home Counties Team.

Outside of work Filomena is kept busy with her young family and enjoys the outdoors.
